Cobar High School is well equipped to address the learning and recreational needs of its students. All classrooms are air-conditioned. We have a Multi-Purpose Centre, including a Performance Space.  The school has fully equipped computer laboratories, Science Labs, TAS workshops and industry-approved kitchen.  We have an interactive whiteboard in at least one classroom for each Key Learning Area. We also have video-conferencing facilities. We are looking to develop an outdoor performance area in the near future. We also have well maintained and pleasant garden areas as well as shade sail protected playing areas.
The school’s library is well resourced with a comprehensive range of fiction, non-fiction and resources. The school has a full-time Aboriginal Education Assitant, Support Teacher for students with specific learning needs and a number of School Learning Support Officers working in a variety of areas.
